Owen’s Service Arrangements
Nick, Owen’s son, has now let us have details of the service which is to be held in remembrance of dear Owen.
This will take place on Wednesday, 9th November, at Clandon Wood Natural Burial Ground, Epsom Road, West Clandon, GUILDFORD, GU4 7FN, from 12 to 3 o’clock. This is where Barbara is buried.
It will be a non denominational service, and the reception will follow in the same place, the glass pavilion. As there has been a direct cremation, the ashes may not be available on that day, but if not, Nick says he will inter them with Barbara at a later date.
No donations to specific charities are requested, but bearing in mind that Owen loved his feathered birds in later life, any donation to the RSPB in his memory, would be appreciated.
